Windows 29 sandbox
Windows 29 (codenamed "Obelisk") was the 29th major release of the Microsoft Windows operating system, released on October 15, 2101. It saw greater success than its predecessors.
By the 2090's, Microsoft Windows was struggling against competitors like Google's Fuchsia and Apple's macOS. Windows 25 was targeted towards a specific group, that being designers, thus being less profitable. Its successor, Windows 26, had mixed receptions while 27 and 28 were both flops. The core problem was this: those previous operating systems up to 28 were mostly just various technical improvements as well as some aesthetical upgrades which most average consumers didn't care about. At the same time, those small improvements also made the system requirements muc…
admin explains why the wiki is dying
I'm finally back, but oh boy... this wiki is basically screwed. Here are my thoughts on why this happened.
- Most of our users are what I like to call "temporary users". They make a page or two, make some edits, then leave to never be seen again. Barely any users stay on our wiki for a month, and I think that the quality requirements have an impact on that. My first articles were horrible, but somehow they didn't get deleted (maybe because practically no one saw them). Temporary users don't really get that same treatment. Their first article usually gets deleted, and then they just don't make another one since their work got deleted, limiting the wiki's growth. Now, I'm not saying that we should remove the quality requirements; I'm saying tha…

PlutoOS
PlutoOS was a 1980s operating system that ran as an DOS.
PlutoOS was basically created in Pakistan by RG9627's friend. it looks like a DOS, But when you type ?, it shows you the touchable app icons.
RG9627's friend was bored. In the August of 14th, RG9627's freiend coded and created PlutoOS. It did not get any updates and it got super less population. Soon after, it shut down on 2009
The black screen of death is like windows 10 bsod but black and different. It says PlutoOS fail. contact for support, visit plutoos.com/error-code-support and place this error code:

Community Update (May 2, 2025)
Howdy, and welcome to the latest Community Update. It has been a long time since the last update, and I apologize for that. I simply did not have enough time to contribute to the wiki. Anyway, let's get into the juice.
If you are one of the members on our Discord server, you might know that I recently started a poll about making an event (quick note: this event, if approved to be hosted, will be only hosted in the Discord server). For those who didn't join or don't have Discord, the poll's image is on the left. To clear up confusion, I have decided to share some information about it here. I have already shared the name of the event with the community, but I reckon that just sharing the name of the event is still vague, so I have decided to s…

The first thing I want to tackle in this community update is that re-enabling comments for our wiki has been on our minds for some time now. Doing so has its pros and cons, so please comment down below on what you think about this proposal.

Community Update (January 6, 2025)
Hello everyone, and welcome to the latest community update. The first thing that I would like to mention is that this community update will be pretty small, but it's still as important as the previous ones.
One of the things I wanted to talk about in this community update is about adding badges to our wiki. Almost every big Fandom wiki has them, and I wanted to get the opinion of the community if you would like to initiate a real vote about adding them. You can vote for the initiation of the vote in the comments.
The last thing that I wanted to talk about in this community update is about cracking down on low-quality articles further by implementing the following policy:
- Far-past and far-future content is not allowed, as it's unrealistic and …

Their work just being content moderators showed their true potential to be loyal and amazing administrators, so they deserved this important role. Congratulating them would be a boost of morale and productivity for both of the administrators.

Where have I been?
Welcome! This blog post is to answer the question, "Where have I been?". So, without further ado, I will start explaining.
- 1 Answers
- 1.1 Number 1: I have a life.
- 1.2 Number 2: The community is also not active.
- 1.3 Number 3: I don't have the interest that I used to.
As the title says of this section, I have a life other than just to moderate/edit the wiki. Although I still occasionally edit, they are mostly minor edits, as I focus on other things, like becoming good at making OSM.
This reason limits my moderation actions, as I can't be active in deleting new pages, deleting offensive posts, etc. because there aren't any.
Back in the summer, I used to pump out pages like crazy because I had a lot of interest in doing so. In the fall, I was not that act…
My page is back.
My page, Windows Moscow, has been recovered. It is in my sandbox now. User:TheGuyForWindows3828, if you're reading this, thanks!
My page, Windows Moscow was deleted because User:TheGuyForWindows3828 thought it was against Windows Never Released Wiki's quality requirements. He thought it is because my page was empty, but empty pages have placeholder text, saying "This page has no text.". You can add text to it, if you're not blocked. It was actually a stub. Then, it has been recovered! YAY!!!
My page, Windows Moscow isn't a stub. I edited it to make that page longer.

It is proposed that all pages should be written in the past tense, unless they are the latest operating system in the series. (The Dates policy and this proposal will be consolidated into the Manual …
Windows Saturn (2029)
Windows Saturn (Codenamed Rings of Death) was a rather failed OS, it sucked at every quality (Gaming, Office, etc....) and it kinda was bad at running the internet unlinked Windows 11.5. Its end of life was cut 2 years shorter. It was highly critiized by plenty of critics. This OS was a fail and soon Microsoft GEN would learn that soon and make one of the best decisions ever...
Windows 9
Windows 9 (Codenamed Leo) is the first Major release from Microsoft GEN. WIndows 9 was just a test but was unpopular, people think Microsoft completely forgot that they changed their logo since Windows 8.1, and it didn't run too well compared to Windows 8.1. Its support Ends on May 6th 2023
Windows 11.5 (2025)
Windows 11.5 (Codenamed Bloom Valley) is the second Major release from Microsoft GEN. It had a short lifespan due to because this whole OS was just a test for most of the features. It wasn't widely known as because Windows 12 would be out anytime soon so people didn't pay attention to Microsoft GEN. it also wasn't widely known due to the failiure and bad reputation of Microsoft GEN and the proceedor of Windows 11.5. Windows 9, which Microsoft GEN's promising reputation turned into a reputation that the next OS would fail so nobody cared on the next release.
It starts in late 2022 after the pandemic partially ended. It took almost 3 years for development to end and for the general release to the public. Their goal was to make a UI that also …
Windows Axcel 2.0 (2038)
Windows Axcel 2.0 (Codenamed Bliss Memories) Is the fifth Major release from Microsoft GEN. It was made because of the previous success of Windows Axcel (2034). Microsoft GEN thought it would be a good idea to recreate it but better and faster. But Recption wasn't what Microsoft GEN wanted it to be nor expected it to be. It was released on December 18th 2038. And the end of life reviews was 8.6/10.

Microsoft GEN worked hard to improve the famous Windows Axcel and development started in Early 2036. Almost two years ahead they release the OS, but it was underwhelming because it was basically Windows Axcel but more improved, like if it were remastered... The public didn't like the…
Windows Axcel (2034)
